Installation of Nitrogen Generator

Dalvoorde Techniek, in partnership with South-Tek, successfully installed the BeerBlast nitrogen generator at Het Uurwerk in Hengelo. This innovative system eliminates the need for nitrogen cylinders, making it possible to tap beer with nitrogen directly on-site. The BeerBlast generator provides flexibility, allowing Het Uurwerk to dispense beer using a CO2 and nitrogen blend tailored to each beer type. For Guinness, the bar now uses 100% nitrogen, ensuring an authentic and smooth taste experience. By removing the reliance on heavy nitrogen cylinders, the system reduces costs, minimizes physical strain, and enhances operational efficiency. The BeerBlast system is designed for low maintenance and delivers consistent performance. Thanks to the swift installation by Dalvoorde Techniek, Het Uurwerk can now fully concentrate on serving premium-quality beer to its patrons.

Commissioning and Testing

At Het Uurwerk in Hengelo, the installation of the BeerBlast nitrogen generator was completed in well-planned steps. The process began with a thorough review of the layout to ensure optimal placement of the system. Following this, all necessary electrical connections were made, and piping was installed to bring the system fully online.

After these preparations, the nitrogen generator itself was mounted and commissioned. A comprehensive startup process was carried out, followed by detailed training for the staff to familiarize them with the system's operation.

The highlight of the project was, of course, testing the beer. Once everything was configured, we conducted a careful test to ensure the beer poured perfectly with the new nitrogen generator. The results met expectations: the beer tasted just as it should!
